Donation supports sca in grassroots sports

At an official check presentation on the occasion of the first training session on the SCA grounds at the new petanque track, the family business design im raum, based in adelsdorf, handed over 2700 euro to the chairman of SC adelsdorf, lorenz galster.
"After more than 300 hours of construction and more than 4000 moved paving stones, the petanque track is finally ready as the first new offer of the department of senior and family sports. We wish ourselves a brisk use and will meet in the future twice a week for training and testing. Information is provided by the brosch family, which has taken over the management of the track", galster explains.
SC adelsdorf is the community’s largest club and is thus facing up to the challenges of structural change in the community area and, with the boule/petanque track, is offering a further sports meeting place for all club members and all citizens interested in family sports. And, of course, further sports activities suitable for families and senior citizens are planned.
"It is important to us that a multi-discipline sports club can also offer intergenerational sports and communication activities with a high recreational value. In adelsdorf in particular, we have to overcome major social challenges due to the immense influx in the new construction areas, explains managing director cornelia roth-brosch. "That was also the main reason for me to take over this new department myself. The spacious club grounds of the SCA are a meeting place for young and old alike. And as a trained housing and living environment consultant for seniors and disabled people, you develop a sensitivity for topics such as inclusion and community. Fortunately, some of our suppliers, who think that our company’s social commitment is great, have supported us in financing the donations."
